In May 2023, I took on the "UTMB" Snowdonia 50k race which had the tagline "savage beyond reason”. The course included two ascents of Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales. With 11,200 feet of elevation, I completed the race in 10 hours 40 minutes, on a very sunny and hot day.
I am a keen Ultra-marathon trail runner as I enjoy the freedom it gives me to explore our beautiful country and to challenge myself to achieve what sometimes feels impossible but is achieved through hard work, dedication and determination.

I run as it not only builds my physical strength, it also develops my mental strength to focus on achieving my goals and problem solving in difficult and challenging environments.
